Martha Ann Ripp Brown

MARTHA “MERT” ANN RIPP BROWN, entered her heavenly home on Friday, June 1, 2018 at 1:00 pm, at the age of 56, after a long and valiant battle against cancer. She was with family when she drifted away to be with the Lord. Beloved sister of Rorlan “Butch” R. Ripp, Jr. (Trang), Rodney J. Ripp, Sr. (Sarah), Rinda Marie Ripp and the late Roy J. Ripp (Michelle). Loving Aunt to Trevor, Gavin, Thea, Jason, Rodney Jr., Rorlan and Bao. Great Aunt to Cristian, Trevor Jr., Marcella, Ava, Mia, Hunter and the late Adriana. Niece to Diane Boudreaux Russell of VA. Beloved daughter of the late Rorlan R. Ripp, Sr. and Ann Boudreaux Ripp, of New Orleans, LA. She is also survived by cherished cousins and friends. She was employed by United Cab, working as an Operator, before becoming ill. She was previously employed by the Suburban Club, as a Bartender, where she made many friends. She enjoyed playing pool for the Suburban Club and Katz Lounge. A very special thank you to Casie, Claudia, Lonnie, and the entire outstanding team at Ameracare Hospice for their excellent care of her. Family and friends are invited to attend her Memorial Service, located at the Elks Lodge, 900 Monroe St., Gretna, LA 70053, on June 18, 2018, from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm.
