Edward Spaulding Bagley III

Edward Spaulding Bagley, III, passed away at the age of 67 on Saturday, January 12, 2019 at his home in River Ridge. He was born on May 4, 1951 to Barbara Hammett Bagley and Edward S. Bagley Jr. He was a graduate of St. Paul’s School in Covington, LA and Mercer University in Macon, GA. Edward received a Master’s degree in Social Work from Tulane University and worked as a hospice social worker before retiring at the age of 63. He was an avid golfer and had a love for reading. He is survived by his beloved wife of 31 years, Susan Whittaker Bagley, his mother Barbara H. Bagley, his sister Lisa B. McKenzie (John Mark), his brother John H. Bagley (Claire), and he was preceded in death by both his father and his brother Peter M. Bagley. He leaves behind many nieces and nephews, all who loved him and looked to him for life’s wisdom. Services will be private. Arrangements entrusted to the Neptune Society.
