I am so saddened and surprised to hear of the loss of my cousin Bill. He was such a nice guy and I have many memories of him and 511.  He and It has such great many childhood memories for me. Rest in Peace Billy.

 Dear Uncle Bill it saddens my heart to know of your passing but you shall remain in my heart with all the  fondness of the most wonderful childhood memmories and love that you displayed throughout the years to me. I know you are in heaven with whole daly clan so let the enternal happiness flow with love. Rest in peace always for my prayers and thoughts are with you. I just want to say thank you for being my uncle. So in leaving remember their will always be a lit candle in memory of you. As you always said that Gerry gang. Love your nice Kathleen Daly

 As we sit and enjoy the porch he built for us so many years ago, we still marvel that he created it all by himself.  From our fragmented vision of what we wanted, he built something that enriches our lives daily.  We will never forget Bill Daly.

Going for a "fast one" will never be the same for the boys. I will never forget all the times I spent in that backyard garage with Moe keeping the peace. Thanks Moe

Bill was quite a character and quite a carpenter.  Watching him work was a learning experience, take your time and do it right the first time.  The ever present cup of coffee and a cigarette.  I'll miss looking out for that Ford pickup rumbling down the streets of Buffalo.  No more "there goes Bill Daly".  You'll be missed Bill.

Drew and I are very sorry to hear of Bill's passing.  He was a very special man. We met through all of the wonderful and long-lasting work he did on our house and many others on our street all the way back to 1990.  We'll miss seeing him around.

Bill was proud of his family, proud of his education at McKinley, proud of driving truck for his Dad, proud of his artillery service in Viet Nam, proud of his home, proud of his service as an usher at St. Marks and proud of his career of helping others. Bill's work improved about half of the homes in North Buffalo and the Elmwood Village. 

My favorite image of Bill is him sitting on his front steps with his ever present cup of coffee after a full day of work, looking forward to sharing a laugh with the world passing by his doorstep. 

It is an honor to have been able to call this good man my friend.
