Sally Farrell Macaluso passed away peacefully in her sleep the morning of Dec. 13, 2020, at the age of 82. Sally was the beloved wife of Samuel T. Macaluso; the devoted mother of Michael (Judy) Macaluso of Amherst, Molly (Stephen) Donovan of Durham, NH, Susan (Michael) Kirkpatrick of Amherst, Donna (Stuart) Clark of Killingworth, CT, and Kevin (Amy) Macaluso of Annapolis, MD; the grandmother of Sean, Michael A., Benjamin, Lindsay, Andrew, Matthew, Abigail, James, Emily, Michael C., Samuel, Jack, Emma, Sophie and Eliza; and great-grandmother of Giorgio, Gianni, Nicolena, Oliver and Theodore. Sally grew up in St. Mark’s Parish in Buffalo, raised her family in the Town of Tonawanda, and moved back to the area after living with her husband in Granby and Simsbury, Connecticut for many years. Sally graduated from Mt. St Joseph Academy and Rosary Hill College (Daemen College). She was an avid tennis player and golfer, enjoyed cross country skiing, digging in her garden, knitting and sewing for her grandchildren, reading, and entertaining her large family. In her later years, she took comfort in long walks through the woods with her husband Sam as they reminisced about their many shared adventures. A celebration of her life will take place later in 2021. Memorials may be made in Sally’s memory to FeedMore Foundation of WNY, 100 James E.
