To the Hall Family: 
My Prayers are with you all.
I was surprised to learn of his passing when visiting a face book link for a cousin. I remember being in his class quite well. I was not one of his better students, but he made a lasting impression non the less. He was a fantastic teacher, and a wonderful person.

To the Hall family,
I am truly saddened by the news of Bob's passing...he and my dad worked together in the Kenmore schools and they were great friends.  Most of you are perhaps too young to remember, but our families often did things together- trips to the beach, cookouts,etc..  He was a kind, gentle, good-natured man.  My condolences, thoughts,and prayers are with you all.

     A good man, and a courteous, professional colleague -- that's who Bob was -- whether teaching in the classroom, participating on-stage in faculty shows, or loving his family, God and country. I feel fortunate to have known both your dad -- and through him, your dear mom.

Mr. Hall was, in my humble opinion, one of the 'rock Gods' who epitomizes everything a great teacher should be. I wrote him a few years back after a Kenmore West alumni gathering on Grand Island to thank him for his service for the two times he taught me personally...once, at (the former)Kenmore Jr. High, and the following year at Kenmore West. 
He was gracious to call to thank me for that letter. 
He half-joked that he 'must have done some good job' for my 'well constructed and thought-out' letter.

His voice was as robust as ever. There's no doubt that I'll cherish his lessons and that phone call forever.

May God bless his soul and his family during this very difficult and sad time.

Having recently loosing my Dad, I can feel where you are. My deepest sympathy and I regret to not be able to pay my respect as I am wintering in Florida.

When a loved one passes, especially a parent, we all miss a piece of our life that has made us grow. We pray for your dad and you have our most heartfelt sympathy at his passing.

Mr. Hall was a fine and caring English teacher, who sparked creativity in his students. Always a gentleman, he is  remembered fondly by this former student.

Bob, like so many of his Kenmore West compatriots, touched our scholarly lives each and every day we were in his presence.  Once again, the Alum of Kenmore West has lost another champion of education.  He will forever remain a part of our lives, in our past, in our presnt, and sometimes whenever we raise a book of literature to our eyes.

Sorry to hear of the passing of your Dad. I saw him with you at your mother;s memorial . Take care.
