Richard J. Tunney, age 95, June 6, 2023. Beloved husband of Dolores Smith Tunney; dear father of Patrick A. (Barbara),Timothy N. (Colleen), Rev. Michael, SJ and Pamela (Robert) Kruger; step grandfather of Greg Kruger; brother of Elizabeth Flaherty and the late Robert Tunney and Geraldine Foley. Survived by nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered Saturday, July 1, 2023, 10:30 AM at Our Lady of Victory Basilica, 767 Ridge Rd., Lackawanna, New York. No prior visitation will occur. Richard was a charter member of "The Lackawanna Hilltoppers Club". In lieu of flowers, contributions in Richard's memory may be made to St. Luke's Mission of Mercy, PO Box 448., Buffalo, New York 14215.
