I’m writing this in hopes that my dear Uncle Erwin’s good friend Erica Dorner sees this. I don’t even know if you’re in the Buffalo area or even still alive. My Uncle Erwin always held a special place in my heart. Being his only niece w/6 nephews he made an effort to give me his affection and time. I would come and visit my Aunt Cathy and him in my adolescent and early teen years in Buffalo. I enjoyed those special one on one vacations and loved their special dog “loompy” not sure if I’m spelling it correctly. After my Aunt passed in 2001, just 3 weeks after her sister, my mom I saw Uncle Erwin a couple times, my most memorable was when our family came to Buffalo for an anniversary celebration for the church where my dad grew up in. I loved seeing him after so many years had passed, enjoying his company and even had a few good laughs. I was sitting here today and watching a movie set in Buffalo and awaiting the Buffalo Bills game tomorrow against KC, which brought me back to memories of him. Which brought me here. I’m thinking if visiting my dads family outside of Buffalo within the next few months. I looked up your name in Buffalo NY and nothing is showing me how to reach you. Perhaps your not from Buffalo. If you ever do see this, can you please reach out to me. I would love to talk to someone that was close to him and be able to share with me the Erwin Mueller you were blessed to know. I had a love for my uncle and still miss him and hold onto many special family times with him growing up.

Irwin I still remember all the great conversations we had at  at Batavian Airport. I kept my helicopters in the hangar behind you so we were neighbors.  I was always amazed at the skill you flew the motor glider with. Rest in peace old friend.
