Thinking of you again today Dana <3 All the kitties are doing good, Psyren has diabetes but is doing excellent on a low-to-no-carb diet (I cook food for all three now). I can't believe she's 14! I flew to Buffalo in August and drove a car down to Rochester. I was thinking about when Tim and I went to visit you and Matt for the weekend. Someday we'll see each other again and our kitties will be there in their party dresses :) I love you.

I remember when Tim and I picked her up from your parents' house in Buffalo on February 1st, 2010 when she was just eight weeks. I am so sorry I did not find out about your passing sooner Dana. I texted you last month on your birthday and didn't hear back so I decided to Google your name today and found this obituary. I can't thank you enough for giving me my baby Siamese kitty Psyren on February 1st, 2010. She is the love of my life and I've created such a wonderful little kitty family with her all thanks to you. This photo is from the night we met. You saw I was upset and not feeling well so you introduced yourself and stuck by my side until I was doing better. You are an absolute doll. Rest in peace pretty lady. I love you <3 

I’m so glad you were a part of our lives.  You helped Bernard become a better person. You always thought of others before yourself.  I simply adore you.    I’ll miss your hugs and smiles.  Your always healthy remedies for things.  Your funny ways. But most of all being a best friend to my brother.   He was always happy around you.   Love you Dana.    🙏

This was the last time I saw Dana on Feb. 7. 2019. The last time we texted. She wasn’t feeling well, so I didn’t keep her, but she wanted to know how I was and we said we loved each other. Sometimes I wonder if I could’ve said anything more so she’d know how much I really did love her, and it wasn’t just a flippant casual greeting. It might’ve been in the beginning, Not anymore, the last few years had been getting better and better it seemed. We weren’t always the best of friends or did we get along all the time. I’ve known her for 6 years, since we met in a Stagehand Humor group on Facebook. I got too close too soon and she was seeing someone else so I went away like asked. It sucked, but she had her life, and I went back to mine. She called me out of the blue a few months later. I never knew why me, what I did or said that would make her WANT to find me. That’s when we really bonded as friends. The last few months I realized just how supportive and caring she was for me, and I wanted her to know I felt the same... I wanted nothing more than to take care of her and keep her safe.  Because I was on the other side of the country, and how my life was going at the time, I didn’t have the means to see her. We joked about her visiting me in AZ because she was a huge fan of the band Tool and it’s lead singer Maynard James Keenan, who lives in Jerome AZ and has a vineyard. I’m in Scottsdale, but we talked about making the Mecca to Sedona. She loved magic, occult, all that. She was so intelligent and open minded, a real free spirit. I miss her so much, but I still feel like she’s with everyone now. She literally saved my life. Twice, once I  tried to commit suicide, she was there for me and it all tied into my addiction to pain pills. It had been 10 years, and for her and because of her I decided to get clean. She had that kind of impact on a stranger 3500 miles away. I’m a stranger no longer, I love her and always will. I will spend my life letting the world about her.
