Mitzi Haley was born November 27, 1952 in Dallas, Texas to parents George and Ella Lorene (Stevens) Sams and entered eternal rest on March 2, 2021 at the age of 68. She was married to James Haley in December of 1969 in Rockwall, Texas. Her life's work was showing dogs, which she did for thirty-five years.
Mitzi was preceded in death by her parents, George and Lorene Sams, brother George "Sammy" Sams and brother Chris Sams.
She is survived by her husband James Haley of Flint, Texas; son Jason "Kirk" Haley and wife Carrie of Tyler, Texas; brother Larry Sams and wife Carol of Gun Barrel City, Texas; numerous grandchildren; other loving family members and many friends.
