Loyd Lamonde Henderson Jr.

Loyd was born November 30, 1950 in Kaufman, Texas to parents Loyd L. Henderson Sr. and Violet Inez (Blythe) Henderson and entered into eternal rest on October 13, 2017 at the age of 66. Loyd was a person that loved to tell stories and make you laugh. He enjoyed bowling, fishing and hunting. He was what you would call a shade tree mechanic, he liked to work on his own truck if something needed fixed. He was a master carpenter. Loyd was a member of Styx Church of Christ and touched many people in his life. He will truly be missed by all who knew and loved him.

Loyd was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents Byron and Julie Blythe, brother Ervey Leroy Henderson, aunt Mary Hallum, aunt Barbara McKenzie, aunt Sandra Benton, cousins: Barbara Blair and James W. McKenzie Jr.

He is survived by his daughter Elizabeth Bennett and husband Larry of Princeton, grandchildren: Alyssa Taylor, Anthony Taylor and Lance Bennett, great-granddaughter Bela Eve Barrow, sister Jerri Lynne Henderson of Kemp, step-daughters: Sheri Charo and husband Steve of Midlothian and Kim Parker of Crandall, step-grandchildren: Lacie Smith, Brittany Scheid, Tyler Parker and Keith Parker, cousins: Sue Tischler and husband Cary of Kemp, Denise McKenzie of Kemp, Nicki McKenzie of Forney and Jeremy McKenzie of Dallas, numerous other family members and many more friends.
