Mrs. Charlotte Ann Lair

Charlotte Ann Lair, of Gun Barrel City, passed away on March 1, 2015 at the age of 73. She was born to parents Clyde Norman Maines and Ethel Lee Montgomery Maines in Monahan, Texas. Charlotte loved to make jewelry and was a collector of owls. She enjoyed sewing also. Charlotte was a member of the VFW #4376 in Seven Points. She attended church at Legendary Baptist Church in Gun Barrel City. Charlotte was a loving caring lady who will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Charlotte was preceded in death by her parents, husband Charles Lair and sister Nelda Padgett.

She is survived by her daughters; Deborah Ash Monday and husband Gayland of Queen City and Sherry Johnson and husband Memphis of Glenmore, LA, sons; Eddie Ash and wife Juanita of Elizabeth, LA and David Ash and wife Linda of Oakdale, LA, 12 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, sister Glenna Walker of Gun Barrel City, numerous nieces, nephews, other loving family and many more friends.
