Teresa Mele

In loving memory of Teresa who was born in San Giovanni In Fiore, Italy on Nov 2, 1928 and passed away peacefully on Dec 21, 2018 at the age of 90. She was predeceased by her parents, her brother, her sister and her husband of 57 years, Domenico.

Teresa will be lovingly remembered by her family: Tina Kennedy (Glenn), John (Dianne), Rosa Viani (Rob), Anna Grobowsky (Ken), 9 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, her brother Salvatore and numerous nieces and nephews.

Teresa worked hard all her life, in the old country and when she came to Canada. She was very dedicated to her husband and children. Family was the most important thing to her. Cooking was her passion and she did a lot of it for everyone and anyone that showed up. She showed her love through her food. Her children and her grandchildren and great grandchildren where the biggest joy she had and wanted them around all the time. She was a wise woman and gave out lots of advice. She will be missed by all who knew her and especially by her family.

Funeral to be held on Dec 27, 2018 at 11:30 AM at First Memorial Funeral Home 1211 Sutherland Avenue, Kelowna BC.
