He passed away peacefully at the age of 89, with his loving family present.
Stanley was a man who carved his own path through life. Starting where he was born, Zavar Czechoslovakia (Slovakia). He voyaged across the Atlantic Ocean with his immediate family, to find a new home in Canada.
He had full career as a Crane Operator with Dofasco, until his retirement. His love for hunting in the mountains of Alberta and fishing in the lakes of Manitoba, were his passions.
He is survived by two sisters. Sister Cecilia Toovey and children, Alfie (Cherry), Julie (Chris), Wendy (Gary) and Samantha (Trent); sister Mary Knizat and children, Stephanie (Ed), Rudy (Carol), Joh (Violet), Rosemary, Marilyn (Howard) and many nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
