Pearl Elizabeth King

Pearl was predeceased by her first husband, Jake Wiens, in 1998 after 52 years of marriage. In that time they spent as much time as they could camping with family, fishing and dancing whenever they could.

After dad’s passing mom moved to Kelowna to be close to her sister. Mom met John King and remarried they spent many hours with friends enjoying card games and church activities till Johns passing.

She leaves behind 6 children, Ken, Terry, Judy, Brian, Don, and Heather. She also had the joy of 10 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and just this year 1 great great grandchild.

Mom will always be remembered for her wonderful smile and the little wink of an eye.

We would like to thank all the staff at Mission Creek Landing for their excellent care with mom in the final stage of her life.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date in Olds, Alberta with family and close relatives, where mom will be reunited with her favorite dance partner Jake Wiens.
