Born in the Lower Mainland on May 29th, 1989 to Leslie Pickering (née Kovacs) and Kevin Pickering. With her mother and father Kendra moved to Kelowna in 2002 and went on to make many amazing friendships.
A curious, intelligent and beautiful soul. Anyone who met her found out quickly that she was one of a kind with her charismatic way and smile.
Kendra attended Sprott Shaw College and graduated with honours and entered in her chosen nursing career. She worked at Chartwell Retirement Residence, a care home for the elderly. Kendra worked many overtime hours because she cared so much for the residents there. Kendra was an outdoor enthusiast. She loved camping, hiking, hunting and fishing, much of these outdoor activities she enjoyed with her dad Kevin and her dog Buck, riding shotgun.
Kendra is survived by her mother Leslie Pickering and father, Kevin Pickering and stepdad Ray Cole. Forever a loving niece, cousin, granddaughter and friend in both the Pickering and Kovacs families.
No formal service is planned at this time yet the family will be having one in the Spring. In lieu of flowers please donate to the Northern Lights Wildlife Wolf Centre in her honour.
Kendra and our loving memories of her will live on forever.
