Monty Brian Smith

December 14, 1945 in Drumheller, Alberta. He was the first son of George and Marjorie Smith. Monty’s life of globetrotting led him throughout Europe, the Arab nations, plus he spent many years in Texas, USA. Monty was best known for his love of coffee, “how he loved his coffee” and his cats. He was predeceased by his father George in 1979 and brother Raymond in 2019. Monty leaves behind a very close and loving family, his Mother Marjorie, one sister Twila, three brothers Lorne (Jean), Patrick (Sheila) and Vernon (Heather).

One son Monty Brian Jr his wife Amber and three grandchildren;

Emily, Ethan and Ezekiel.

Monty also shared a close relationship with his niece Linda and her two daughters Kendal and Kennedy. Also left to mourn him are numerous nephews, great nephews, nieces, great nieces and cousins.

Memorial services will be announced at a later date.

Our family would like to thank Dr Blakemore and the staff at Brookhaven Care Center that provided Monty with exceptional quality care and kindness while a resident there up to the end of his life.
