Mary Marguerite Helene Bloomfield

BLOOMFIELD: Marguerite. It is with heavy hearts we announce that Marguerite Bloomfield of Kelowna BC passed away peacefully on April 26th, 2019 at 89 years of age with her family by her side. Born to Alex and Alma Pare in Maillardville, BC Oct 26th, 1929. Survived by her five children, Brenda (Bill) Boyd, Mona (Cliff) Penner, Jamie (Ingrid) Bloomfield, Bernie (Cathy) Bloomfield and Bonnie (Marty) Dupree. Marguerite had 14 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. She is also survived by longtime partner Ernie Thompson and siblings Lorena, Elaine and Leonard. In her early years Marguerite worked as a Nurses Aid, (later in life attaining her LPN Diploma). Throughout the years, while raising her children she built a successful Amway career and developed many lifelong friendships. Marguerite's musical talent touched the hearts and souls of many people throughout her life. Receiving an iPad for her 85th birthday kept her connected with family, friends and gave her the opportunity to play her favorite game SCRABBLE. Her sense of humor and her determined nature served her well through her many life adventures. Some of the gifts Marguerite gave to her family included unconditional love, values to live by and a sense of humor that knit together four generations.
