After a long battle with illness, Lois Sutton was grateful to M.A.I.D. to set her free on February 28, 2024. A talented and creative artist, she lived by Maya Angelou’s words:
“My mission is not merely to survive, but to thrive, and to do so with some passion, some compassion, some humour, and some style.”
Lois wishes to express her deep gratitude to her many friends, Dr. Gina Polley, General Internal Medicine, Nurse Amanda/Diabetes Education Centre, Dr. Hannah Gibson, M.A.I.D. Doctor Prescriber, and Dr. Jade Dittario, M.A.I.D. Doctor, and for their medical process.
A Celebration of Life was held on February 28, 2024 and a 75th Birthday Party! Cremation with no service to follow at a later date.
Interment to follow in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Lois’ memory may be made to Canadian Diabetes Association or charity of your choice. Thank you.
