Launie lived life as an independent and free spirit, who traveled far in her youth, worked extensively in early childhood development in Williams Lake, and later became an entrepreneur successfully running her own business in Ashcroft, BC. She was a dedicated lover of her animals, an amazing cook, kind friend, steadfast sister, and an incredible aunty to many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews to whom she left an indelible mark. Above all, her door was always open to those who loved her, and her smile reached directly to the heart of anyone who received it.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 3rd, at 1 pm, at the Ashcroft Community Hall, 409 Bancroft Street. All who knew her are welcome.
