A resident of Kelowna, born in Alert Bay, BC, Ken began his career as a printer in Victoria, worked in Edmonton then moved to Kelowna in 1970 and operated Turner Printing from 1980 to 2003. Ken was predeceased by his three brothers; John (Turner Dental Lab) in Victoria, Rick (Rick’s Plumbing), Kelowna, Ed, Ken’s twin (Turner Plumbing), Kelowna and daughter Heather of Williams Lake.
Ken is survived by his wife June, son Dan with wife Mel, daughters Kathleen, Helen and Lonnie and grandchildren Holly, Brad, Dustin, Britney and Burklyn. He was also a loving uncle to his brothers families. An avid sportsman, Ken loved fishing, camping, golfing, hunting and card games. Loved watching TV football and super hero movies. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at Valleyview Funeral Home, 165 Valleyview Road on Thursday May 11th, 2017 at 2:00 pm.
