WARD: June Marlene (nee McGillivary), passed away in the Polson Extended Care in Vernon on December 9th, 2024. Born September 11th, 1933 in Manitou, Manitoba. Survived by sister, Alexis Whitehead of Cranbrook, BC. 4 Children, Jim Palmer of Red Deer, AB, Shawna Palmer-Smith of Chilliwack, BC, Robert and Douglas Ward of Vernon, BC. 7 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. June passed peacefully on December 9 2024, at Polson extended care. Joining her husband Stewart at the great dance hall in the sky.The nursing staff at Polson are second to none, they treated June with very excellent care until her last breath. She will be sadly missed by all.
