She curled until she was close to 70 and spent many happy hours with her friends at the Kelowna Curling Club. Janet's love of the orchard never left her and picked cherries and apples every year well into her 60's. She enjoyed gardening, reading and mostly watching sports. She was a huge Toronto Blue Jays and Vancouver Canucks fan and all the curling on TV. Her children, grandchildren and all their friends were great sources of enjoyment in her later years and always like a good party and family gatherings. With always a sweet smile and gentle kindness, she drew in all who met her. She will be missed by all who loved her.
