James Domastrus Elko

It is with deep sadness that we announce his recent passing at the Village at Mill Creek. He leaves behind his daughter Lynn Powell; son Mark Elko (Della) and James Elko Jr. (Sharon). He was predeceased by his wife Helen in 2009.

Grandchildren; Scott and Derrick Powell; Chad, Susan and Ian Elko, Tammy Soderberg and Erin Franklin. Great- grandchildren Samantha, Ashley, Amanda, Nicolas, Andrew, Quinton, Caleb and Isabella.

Jim moved to Kelowna from Flin Flon, Manitoba in 1964 and started JD. Appliances. He was involved in bowling and was an avid curler into his 80’s.

Deepest gratitude is expressed to Management and Staff at Joseph Benjamin Residence and the Village at Mill Creek. Special thanks to everyone in Shannon Community.
