A crowning achievement was the Grand Champion Bull at the 1978 Calgary Spring Show.
Gord was a caring and loving husband, father, grandfather and loyal friend, always generous with advice. He was community oriented in his children’s activities as they grew up. He enjoyed the outdoors hunting, golfing, rose gardening and RVing; and his garage was his man cave . He was a thoughtful and generous host. He stayed in touch with old friends, school mates (1943) and new friends on a regular basis.
"Gord will be forever in our hearts and will never be forgotten".
