Gail Norene Goodall

Gail was born on October 16, 1953, in Alert Bay, BC, to Albert and Norma Williams. Raised in Sointula, BC, she moved to Vancouver in 1971 to attend the University of British Columbia, where she met her husband, David Goodall. They married in August 1974 and this summer would have marked their 50th anniversary.

Gail is also survived by her daughters Marci Penner, her husband Brad, and their children Hanah and Landen, as well as Laura Wiens, her husband Chris, and their children Zoe, Calum, and Cydney. She is preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Norma Williams, and her older brother, Gerry.

For more than 20 years, Gail was a committed elementary school teacher, influencing many lives. As a Christian, she attended Trinity Church and raised her daughters in faith. Her love for life was evident in her adventures with family, gatherings with friends, and travels with her husband. Gail will be remembered fondly by all who were blessed to know her.
