Edward Earl “Ed” Little passed away on February 28, 2021 at the Kelowna General Hospital, a few days after suffering a heart attack, aged 94 years. Ed was born July 26, 1926 in Vancouver, BC, the eldest child of Harry and Margaret Little. He was predeceased by his wife of 60 years, Betty.
Ed served in the Canadian Army in World War II and when the war ended he studied pharmacy at UBC, working as a pharmacist in the Lower Mainland. He and Betty raised their family in Coquitlam, BC. They retired to Kelowna and enjoyed many happy years there.
Left to cherish his memory are his 4 children, Nancy (Ken Smith) in Calgary, AB, Sharon in Kelowna; Alan (Kathleen) in Vernon, BC, and Beth (Jason Halldorson) in Maple Ridge, BC, 11 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
In accordance with Ed’s wishes, and due to current restrictions, no memorial service will be held following his cremation. If friends desire memorial tributes may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
