D. Earl Keegan, born April 28th 1965, and raised in Hamilton Ontario, passed away peacefully on December 19th, 2012. He was true inspiration to us all, a musician, a motivator, a believer in humanity and an activist. A peaceful warrior, Earl was impassioned for cause and always polite and courteous in all his dealings. His life should inspire and encourage us all to keep going and to never give up. As Earl would quote: "Get up, stand up for your rights"
Predeceased by his mother Eleanor Jean Keegan and by his sister Peggy Keegan. Earl is survived by his children, Josh Clee and Joanna Jansen, Miranda Thompson and Derek Keegan Jr. and Terry Card, Chelsea Card and Billie Porteous, his brothers Donny and Anthony Keegan, his sister Ruth Keegan and Father Earl McLloyd. Regards are made across country from Danny and Brian Rogers and sisters Tanishia and Jasmine as well as many family and friends. Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday January 7, 2013 in the Chapel of First Memorial Funeral Services, 1211 Sutherland Avenue.
