David was a special friend to us in the Society of St. Vincent de Paul.  We only came to know him in the past several months.  In visiting with David I could always count on a sensible, courageous and sensitive discussion, accepting life as it came - including the health challenges which took over all too soon and unexpectedly.  His children figured hugely in his thoughts.  We wish you every consolation on the loss of your father. I am blessed and proud to has known David for the last two years. He was always quick witted and enjoyed walking downtown or along the Kelowna grand walkway.
