Bruce was called back by the Creator, Mother Earth on December 19th. He was proud of his Native Heritage and membership in the Kahkewistahaw First Nation. Vintage cars, nature, alternative music, skateboarding and football were passions of his. He was a talented chef and “BBQ Bruce” will be sadly missed. He was a friend to all and had an infectious smile combined with a quirky sense of humour. You couldn’t be unhappy around Bruce. He was predeceased by his mother Marsha Fern Lovell and father Bruce Kingsley Francis, and previous significant other Lori Conlin. He is survived by his sons Devon (MayAnne) and Tyler, sister Joelle (Mark), and niece Julia, his extended Francis family and companion Ann Marie. A celebration of his life will be held at First Memorial 1211 Sutherland Avenue, Kelowna January 27 at 2 pm with a reception to follow at the Ki-Low-Na Friendship Centre. Many thanks to the Friendship Centre and Coast Hotels for their support. Donations can be made to the BC SPCA www.spca.bc.ca in his honour. “May we meet again”
