Bertha Rolande Morgan

She was born January 17th,1941 to Rita and Joe Lalonde in Ponteix, Saskatchewan.

The family moved to Michel-Natal when she was six (6) years old, and grew up in the Elk Valley where she met her life long friend Gayle Travis.

As Bebo matured through the years, she met a young man named Doug Morgan who later became her husband of 60 years. They were married on October 11, 1958 and had three children: David, Deborah & Dan. They started their family living in Little Chicago for four years, moved to Sparwood, then on to Fernie where they would stay until the year 2000, finally ending up in Kelowna, BC.

Bebo and Doug were sole mates and cherished their close friendships that remain intact to this day.

Bebo was very active in sorority and worked in the meat department at Overwaitea in Fernie. She loved life, meeting new people, and sharing her experiences with family and friends. She was an avid curler and softball player, enjoyed family time and truly adored her nieces and nephews. Along the way, her children gave her seven wonderful grandchildren and one precious great grand-daughter.

Bebo is survived by her children: Dave Morgan (Kathie) grandson Justin, Fernie; Deborah Warner (Wayne) granddaughters Nicole (great granddaughter Madison) & Jordyn, Fernie; Dan Morgan (Karen) grandsons Scott & Shane and granddaughters Courtney & Jaimee, Calgary.

She is also survived her by sister Lucille (Walter) Rybachuk, brother Lucien (Lynn) Lalonde, sister Denise (Rich) Davidson, sister Pauline Duchan, brother Louis (Debra) Lalonde & sister-in-law Lenka Lalonde.

She was predeceased by her parents Joe & Rita Lalonde, her brothers Armand & Ron Lalonde, brother-in-law Scotty Duchan, nephews Leigh Lalonde & Andrew Lalonde
