Audrey Louise Adkins

October 14, 1929 – July 13, 2021

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our mother, grandmother and great grandmother.

Born in Merritt and raised in Kelowna, Audrey was one of 4 children, all who have predeceased her. In July 1948 she met and married Edward “Ted” Adkins who predeceased her in 2000. They shared 51 years together living in Kelowna and Richmond, BC.

She will be missed by her children, Lynn (Atsuo), John (Judy), David (Shelley), Roy (Anne) and grandchildren, John (Betsy), Danyelle (Garett), Chad (Theresa), Sean, Erin, Jerrod (Donna), Ben (Jen) and great grandchildren, Jenna, Cadence, Colton, Edward, Viviana, Tyson, Taylor, BR, Kyan and Lukas.

Audrey enjoyed spending time with her family especially making time for her grandchildren and friends. Her hobbies included knitting, sewing, reading, playing cards, baking and various crafts. In her later years she enjoyed supporting charities by donating her time and skills.

She will be missed by her family and friends.

There will be no service at this time.

In lieu of flowers a donation can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
