Anna Whittingham

Whittingham, Anna (nee Engelman) born March 7, 1928, passed away December 22, 2011 with her family by her side at home. Predeceased by her husband Jack on September 4, 2000. Survived by Damer Whittingham (Sheila), Sparwood, BC; Lynne Kittlitz, Kelowna; Pat Whittingham, Winfield; beloved granddaughter Robyn Kittlitz, Kelowna. Anna loved to putter in her yard and enjoyed her birds , she loved to play dominoes and cards with friends. Anna was a lifelong resident of Kelowna and an active member of the Kelowna Historical Society and had written several published articles on the history of Kelowna. Anna was a beloved mother, grandma and best friend to many. A Celebration of Life will be held in the Spring of 2012. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Kelowna S.P.C.A. or the Sindi Ahluwalia Hawkins Center for the Southern Interior in memory of Anna would be appreciated.
