Alden Norman Carlson, 89, passed away on June 10, 2017 in Kelowna, British Columbia. Alden was born at home on the farm near Canwood, Saskatchewan on February 8, 1928. He was the 13th and youngest child of Walfred and Johanna Carlson.
Alden is survived by his daughters, Valerie Woolley (Richard), and Dawn Carlson (Glen Whetstone) and by his grandsons Michael Woolley (Renee) and Bradley Whetstone and his granddaughter Kylee Whetstone. He is survived by 6 great grandchildren, Jordan, Colton, Hanna, Lance, Katelyn and Cameron. Alden is also survived by his sister Irene Nelson and by numerous nephews and nieces.
Alden was predeceased by his wives Leona Carlson and Audrey McKay and by his grandson Brendan Woolley.
Alden will be laid to rest with a private family graveside service on Thursday June 15, 2017 at 10:00am at Kelowna Memorial Park Cemetery
