Rose Jean Cummings

Rose Jean "RJ" Cummings was on this Earth only five short weeks, but she brought a great deal of love and sweetness to all who met her. RJ was born in Mansfield,Tx June 3, 2022 and passed away in her sleep July 11, 2022 in Grapevine,Tx. Named for her maternal great-grandmother Rose Graves and her paternal great-grandmother Betty Jean Mason, she was a happy and curious baby.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, July 21, at Keller's Old Town Funeral Home, 220 Keller Parkway, Keller.

RJ is survived by her parents, Brett and Libbie Cummings of Grapevine; paternal grandparents, Bruce and Jamie Cummings of Haslet; Maternal grandparents, Kevin and Sue Steuhm of Idaho Falls, Idaho; great-grandmother, Carolyn Cummings; adopted great-grandfather, Gary Mason; uncle, Jim Cummings and his wife Lauren and sons; aunt, Katherine Steuhm and her husband Gabriele Campale of Migliana, Italy; aunt, Abbie Steum of Iowa City, Iowa; as well as numerous extended family members and friends.

Preceding RJ in death are her paternal great-grandparents, Jim and Rose Graves and Don Cummings; maternal great-grandparents, Ronald and Jean Steuhm of Tama, Iowa, Robert and Eileen Thompson of Central City, Iowa; and adopted great-grandmother, Betty Jean "BJ" Mason. We are confident in the knowledge that they greeted RJ with loving embraces.
