Ronnie F. Moore, 66, passed away on November 29, 2022 at Harris Hospital, Fort Worth, TX, with his devoted wife, Sheila at his side. Ronnie was the first son born on August 13th, 1956 to Wade Franklin Moore and Jessie Estella Moore in Chickasha, Oklahoma. As a young boy, Ronnie moved to Texas, and after living in many cities throughout Texas, Ronnie settled in Fort Worth where he attended Paschal High School.
Ronnie started his profession as an over-the-road driver with Keebler where he joined the Teamsters, after many years he went to work for Yellow Freight until he retired in 2002.
Ronnie married Sheila Osborne on February 14, 2000 in Fort Worth, TX. Together they built a home and settled in Haslet, Texas where Ronnie joined the Haslet Fire Department where he became Chief Engineer and remained a part of the department for over twenty-two years. He considered the HFD his second family and enjoyed spending time with all of the firefighters and developed many relationships and memories.
Ronnie enjoyed traveling, attending Oklahoma Sooners football games, and was an avid gun collector. He loved to spend time with his nephew, going on road trips and shooting guns. He had a great sense of humor, loved spending time with his family and friends. He was a practical joker, loved making people laugh and loved to dance.
Ronnie was preceded in death by his parents and half-brother Ricky Dale Rogers, and his best canine companion Dodge.
Ronnie is survived by his wife, Sheila Moore, of the home; a son Jeromy Moore, daughter Jennifer Moore, brother Billy Moore, half-brothers Donnie Rogers, Jimmy Don Rogers, Rusty Rogers and half-sister Dora Godwin and several grandchildren.
A viewing for Ronnie will be held Saturday, December 10, 2022 from 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM at Keller's Old Town Funeral Home, 220 Keller Pkwy, Texas 76248, followed by a celebration of life at 10:00 AM.
