Peyton Christopher Brandt

July 9, 2004 - September 29, 2021

Peyton Christopher Brandt, age 17, passed away on September 29, 2021. Born in Chattanooga, Tennessee on July 9, 2004, Peyton charged full speed ahead into this world, blessing all with his presence, at an astounding 28 weeks and 3 days into his mother’s pregnancy, He was a Junior at Carroll Senior High School. Peyton spent his afternoons working at The Local Watering Hole where he was a favored cook among patrons. Peyton’s gifts extended past the kitchen as he only had to watch a task once or twice before mastering it on his own whether it involved home or car repairs or expressing himself artistically through words and drawings. At home, Peyton relaxed by playing video games and journaling his thoughts and ideas. Peyton will be remembered for his kind, gentle nature and for being pure of heart. His contagious smile lit up every room and brought happiness to all around him. He was a beloved son, brother, nephew, cousin, grandson and friend.

Peyton is survived by his parents, Bill and Tracy Brandt, brothers Parish and Paxton, grandmothers Vivian Guthrie and Sue Guthrie, Aunts and Uncles including Lori(Lou), Christie(Chris) and Roxanne(Duane), numerous cousins, and his extended family from The Local Watering Hole. He is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents Bill and Carol Brandt and maternal grandfather Mack Guthrie. A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, October 9th, 10:00 AM at Meat U Anywhere, 91 Trophy Club Dr., Trophy Club, one of his favorite places.
