NANCY EDNA SWINGLE, of Keller, Texas, peacefully crossed over on November 19th, 2024 in Haslet, Texas at the age of 83. She left this world in the loving embrace of her children, her grandchildren, and her great grandchildren. The light and laughter that Nancy added to this world will be missed dearly, but her presence will always hold a place near to our hearts.
Nancy was born on December 6th, 1940 in Charleroi, Pennsylvania to Frederick Evans, a railroad worker, and Emma Bissell, a homemaker. She graduated from Charleroi High School in 1957 and lived in Medina, Ohio until 1981 when she set out west to Fort Worth, Texas. While Nancy was known as a kind and considerate loan officer at American Airlines who always got the job done with a smile for over 20 years, she will be remembered most for her contagious laughter, her passion to create and inspire creativity, her ability to make those around her feel loved, and her delicious stuffed cabbage. Perhaps her most important legacy is the people she was able to bring together.
Nancy is remembered with love by her family: Her daughter and son-in-law, Jodi and Paul Miller of Haslet, Texas, grandson Matthew, his wife Chelsee, great grandsons Maxwell and Wesley, grandson Christian, his wife Madison, and great grandson Roy; Her son, Jeff Chambers of Euless, Texas; Her son and daughter-in-law, Sam and Charlotte Swingle of North Richland Hills, Texas, grandson Logan, his wife Maddy, grandson Grant, and grandson Josh; Her brother and sister-in-law, James and Sharon Evans of Charleroi, Pennsylvania, nephew Michael, and niece Michele; Her sister and brother-in-law, Janice and Robert Sekora of Charleroi, Pennsylvania, nephew Daniel, and nephew Christopher Sekora, who she now joins in paradise. Nancy is preceded in passing by her father, Frederick Evans and her mother, Emma Evans.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
