My deepest condolences to the family. My name is Demisha and I worked for Ms. Kathy for a little while. She was a lady all about Beauty & Style. She wanted her hair & makeup perfect. I wouldn’t have it know other way. She wasn’t hard to work for. She did resist some activities, I tried to get her to do. And next thing I know, she was doing all the activities I set before her which was a great feeling. She just had to do things on her own time. Ms. Kathy was a great lady and she will be greatly missed. 

Janet and I had the absolute pleasure of living with Kathy the last year she was in her house. Although her mind had been robbed by a terrible disease we knew about all too well, she was still able to make us laugh and seemed to pull from the depths of her “good brain” as I call it , to almost have a magical quality about her. She never had a harsh word toward us and somehow knew we were there to help, but really, she helped us much more than she could have imagined with her smile and loving manner that I know she showed her whole family all of her life. We were truly blessed to be there. Thank you Ms. Kathy from “the lady” and “that man upstairs”. We’ll miss you but you continue to look over us, ok?  Love you, Kirk and Janet Kohler

What a beautiful dedication to a beautiful loving mother and grandmother. There are  to many memories to put down in this space, but all of them are surrounded by the love in our hearts. May peace be with the family during their time of grief.

I have known and loved Kathy my whole life (75 years) as her mother (Mable) and mine (Kathryn) were sisters.  We were born 90 days apart and many times placed together in the same crib.  I cannot remember a time when I didn't love her smiling face and infectious sense of humor.  She is forever remembered and loved by all who knew her.

So sorry for your loss . I pray that God comforts you  as only he can through this grieving process.  She will be greatly missed.  Her smile lit up a room and her laugh was contagious. 
She was always making sure everyone felt at home when you came to visit.  She cooked like a chef and everything she cooked was amazing. She was a woman of many talents.  We love you momma Kathy.


Kathy was the sunshine on a cloudy day, always smiling, always gracious, always kind. She left behind a big beautiful loving family that will remember her and love her to the end of time.

Kathy was the mother of one of my dearest friends. She was always a part of our lives as both of our families were connected by our kids. High school football games, Halloween at Melissa a house,  and many other times over the last 15 years.  She always had a smile on her face and so much love for her grandkids and their friends. My sons were blessed to know her. Our whole family was blessed to know her. We are saddened by the loss of Kathy but rejoice that she is in the arms of Jesus. 

Kathy was one of the great lights of the world.  No one could be around Kathy for long without finding a smile on their face.  She made everyone around her feel loved.
