Jerry was born on August 17, 1944, in Olney, TX. He owned and operated his own business for several years until he was called into Ministry. In 1997 he fulfilled his destiny and heart’s desire to serve God and became an ordained minister. When he wasn’t preaching or spreading the word he enjoyed spending time with family. He loved to talk, eat, ride his John Deere tractor, and watch hallmark movies. Together with his wife of 54 years they successfully raised FIVE very strong-willed daughters. His laughter was contagious, and his faith was steadfast. Jerry loved to be around people and could strike up a conversation with anyone. He also loved the peace of the country and moved to Canton to live out on his ranch and spread the word. He lived an honest and humble life until his last breath. Jerry loved his family everyday here on earth, but his faith was strong, and he awaited his reunion with his family who had gone before him, knowing on that day he would come face to face with Jesus Christ. He often talked with pride of his homecoming and we know he is celebrating in heaven. His love and laughter will forever be missed.
