Jeffrey S. Lang, passed away unexpectedly, December 7, 2018. He was born on July 19,1968, in Washington DC to Donald R. Lang and to Rebecca S. Lang. Jeffrey grew up in Crawfordsville, Indiana, and graduated from Crawfordsville High School in 1986. He attended Hanover College, where he belonged to the Phi Gamma Delta Fraternity and graduated from Indiana University.
Jeff married the love of his life, Deanna Lang, in 1991, and they have a beloved daughter Katherine, in 2002. In 2008, they decided to make their home in Keller, Texas, and proudly call themselves Texans.
Mr. Lang was instrumental in the growth of hospice care throughout the United States. He recently joined Sage Hospice, a leading provider of hospice and palliative care in the Phoenix area. He was recently named Sage’s CEO and has over 20 years of leadership experience in large hospice organizations. Jeff found his passion, after college, with hospice care. He devoted his efforts in developing hospice care with integrity and regard for individualized personal care.
Jeff’s hobbies included his family, traveling, barbecuing Texas style, collecting art, cooking, and was also considered, by his friends, a wine and bourbon connoisseur. Jeff was proud of his Italian heritage and enjoyed collecting historical memorabilia. Jeff was an avid fan of his daughter, Kate’s volleyball career at Keller High School and TAV club volleyball. He was her relentless encourager as he cheered her on at each game.
He was preceded in death, by his maternal grandparents; Rocco and Angelina DeFabio of Ohio, and his paternal grandparents, Richard and Jacqueline Lang, of Illinois.
Jeff is also survived by his parents, Donald Lang, and Rebecca Lang, his sister, Heather Lang Celleghin, as well as, aunts, uncles, and cousins, in Indiana, Ohio, Washington DC, Illinois, and Wisconsin.
Jeff grew up going to First Baptist Church, in Crawfordsville, Indiana, and later attended Northwood Church of Keller, Texas.
Jeff will be remembered fondly, not only for his hospice compassion, but for his thoughtfulness through personal handwritten letters, that will forever be treasured by those who have received them.

Family will receive friends from 6 pm to 8 pm, Friday, December 14, 2018 at Keller's Old Town Funeral Home, 220 Keller Parkway, Keller, Texas 76248. Funeral Service will be held at 11 am, Saturday, December 15, 2018 at Keller's Old Town Funeral Home.
