He was born on April 27, 1962 in Jinzhou, China.
He attended Huazhong University of Science and Technology and majored in physics. He obtained a scholarship to attend Kansas State University where he studied Electrical Engineering.
Zhou Feng met his wife Yang Han Ju at Huazhong University of Science and Technology in 1988. He spent the next 33 years together with her as partners and friends in life and in faith. He and his wife were the founding members of New Life Gospel Church at its conception in 2001.
Feng Zhou started his career as a semiconductor engineer at STMicroelectronics and Texas Instruments. He worked for 13 years as an engineer. In 2009, he became a licensed realtor, assisting dozens of clients and purchasing many investment properties of his own. Through persistence, passion, and integrity, he created a successful business that provided both security and comfort for his family.
Zhou Feng enjoyed outdoor activities such as jogging, tennis, golf and fishing. Zhou Feng was a man of curiosity who loved to work with his hands, tinkering with and fixing things. Zhou Feng loved being economical and took immense pleasure from capitalizing on a good deal. His favorite pastimes included eating and drinking. Every night, he would sit at the dinner table and enjoy a midnight snack with a glass of red wine. He had a passion for cooking and took joy when his family complimented his culinary talents.
Feng Zhou is survived by his wife, Han Ju Yang, and sons, Albert Zhou and Zachary Zhou. Zhou Feng was an immigrant who personified the American Dream. He was a faithful man who loved the Lord. He took pride in his family and gave his best to ensure their wellbeing. He enjoyed life and was an extremely happy man. He will always be remembered as a loving husband, father, and friend to the many who knew and loved him.
