Eleanor Nebe, age 67, of Northlake, Texas passed away peacefully on Tuesday, August 13, 2024, surrounded by loving family members.
Eleanor was born July 23rd, 1957 In Chicago Illinois, to Richard “Mitch” Gomez and Beatrice Gomez (Hernandez). She was the older sister, along with brother Richard Jr, and youngest sister Linda.
Eleanor graduated from Taft High School in Chicago, Illinois and later in life received her Bachelor’s degree from the University of Phoenix in Business Administration. Her earliest ambitions were to be a professional dancer, as well as to have a family and children of her own. She married William Nebe August 4th, 1979 and they began to create an incredible life together.
Eleanor’s greatest passion in life was her family, and serving the Lord. Her proudest moments were always of her children, and grandchildren, whom she loved dearly. Her proudest accomplishments were being able to help raise and support her grandchildren and working for Allstate Insurance for over 25 years. She truly was the most loving friend, mother, and grandmother you could ask for, always lending a hand, or giving an embrace to those who needed it.
Eleanor’s hobbies includes volunteering with cancer patients, dancing, Zumba, cross stitch, and of course, baking. Her favorite color is turquoise, which reminded her of the ocean, her favorite place.
She is preceded in death by her father Richard “Mitch” Gomez, and by her grandparents Pedro and Eleanor Hernandez, and Frank and Nellie Gomez
She is survived by her husband of 45 years William Nebe, her daughter Nicole Wineriter (Stephen), her son Justin Nebe (Danielle), grandchildren Matthew Nebe, Coleton Wineriter, Madeline Wineriter, and Maverick Nebe, and her mother Beatrice Gomez (Hernandez).
Eleanor will truly be missed by all. We will always remember her faith, strength, and ability to be full of life and love for everyone.
