

He was born in Galesburg, Illinois July 3rd, 1927. To Arlene and Joseph Loeser.
He enlisted in the Navy at 17. Unfortunately, or fortunately, he
ended up having an accident during his training and spent 11 months in Great Lake Naval Academy having to have 2 big knee surgeries.
He attended Knox College then graduated from Duke university Law School at the age of 23!!.
He worked for Rockwell International his entire 35 years
Business career, retiring in 1986, as Corporate Senior Vice President, Operations.
Mr. Loeser served on Corporate, Associations, Community and Charitable Boards during the years he lived in Munster Indiana, Pittsburgh PA and Raleigh, NC.
During his 35 years in retirement he and the Love of his Life Birgitta, traveled extensively through out the United States and abroad.
As an avid golfer he was a member of National Golf Club in Pinehurst NC,Former Board Member, Old North State in Badin Lake, NC. Troon Golf and CC Club Scottsdale, AZ
Blowing Rock CC. NC. Hound Ear CC. Boone NC. Pittsburg Field
Club- Former Board Member, Smith Mountain Lake Virginia. He also belonged to the Duquesne Club Pittsburgh PA
He was on the Board of Interlake Chicago, and Robins and Meyers Co, Dayton OH.
He is survived by his wife of 35 years Birgitta, his sons Larry Loeser. Chapel Hill NC. David Loeser, Westlake, TX Edward A Loeser, Jr. Dublin OH, and his daughters Julie Barringer Woodstock, GA and Debra Kulig Miami FL.
His stepson Norman C. Grimm of Clearlake, Ca.
He also had 15 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
He was a very special man, a GIANT!! With a heart of gold. Everyone that met him just loved him. He loved all of his family and wanted them to be
Happy and successful members of society. He had such a big heart, that heart is not beating anymore and that is very hard too except. He will be so missed but never forgotten. We all loved him so very much.
