Charles Medearis Boto, age 69, passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by his family on February 14, 2023. By the free gift and grace of God, Chuck is now healed and whole with his Savior, Jesus Christ. Charles was born in Gary, Indiana, the son of August and Dorothy Boto. He considered himself a Texan at heart and has called Texas his home since 1994. He is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Lydia Boto and their three children Aaron and Tara Boto, Thomas and Julie Boto and Angie Martinkus as well as 11 grandchildren Tyson Boto, Austin Boto, Jaelynn Boto, Everett Boto, Colton Boto, Gus Boto, Brooke Boto, Owen Boto, Uriah Boto, Wyatt Boto and Ben Martinkus. He is survived also by his brother and sister Augie and Cindy Boto and Mara and Jack Sears. Chuck was a devoted, loving father and grandfather, who brought joy and laughter to any situation. Above all else, Chuck spent a lifetime daily choosing to follow and serve his risen Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Chuck now rests in this truth: “According to the Lord’s great mercy, He has caused us to be born again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead to an inheritance that is imperishable, undefiled and unfading.” 1 Peter 1:3-4 ESV.
The family will receive friends and a memorial service will be held at First Baptist Church Keller to celebrate his life on February 18, 2023 from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
