For Casey's Family...
I only recently met Casey through a mutual friend, but was fortunate enough to have had many conversations with him.  We had an immediate connection, we literally joked about how we could "out talk" each other!  Our conversations revolved around our families- and there was never ANY doubt that his family was everything to him. I could hear (in the things he would say) how deeply he loved those who were apart of his life.  He absolutely loved being an Uncle..those children were his whole world, and he spoke of them each time.  Casey always had a smile on his face, always, and he was funny! I was deeply saddened to learn of his passing.  My deepest sympathies go out to his family and to everyone who was blessed enough to know his love...

I have been thinking of Casey for many days now. Casey was always so happy to come to Iowa, I remember riding horses and 4 wheelers around the farm. But most of all I remember Casey always encouraging me at whatever I did. I wasn’t very good at basketball but he faces tips and pointers. He acted like I was the best player in the world. He gave me confidence. I remember training my dog and showing Casey the new things we learned. He was always impressed.  I don’t think I ever saw him down. I remember playing house in grandma’s garage attic as kids and Casey taking me to “hunt” rabbits in the yard for our “supper”. He always helped with any chores that needed doing so we could all do fun things together. He made sure no one was ever left out. I’m so glad I got to have you in my life Casey. You will be missed.

Hello old friend,
I am not sure where to begin. I first met you as a 17 year old kid. I was your new manager and I slowly met all the new hires. You came in for your shift one day and you were all smiles and just a positive person. I remember the dancing more than anything. It was rare for there ever to be a shift where you weren’t fooling around with glow sticks or lights.  Every time I walked into the room I always noticed you dancing to yourself to make the time pass.  Lol I was fortunate to have you work for me for four years.  That four years went quickly and I was able to watch you grow into a man.

There are so many memories!  I’ll admit that out of all my staffs after  12 years of managing, you have always been remembered.  I always was very thankful to have known you. I know I challenged you and you sure did the same for me. I’d even give anything just to have you talk back to me again. Lol We got into it a few times but we also quickly learned how to work together and shrug off any differences with a laugh. 

I also have to thank you for being such a great friend and support. You never hesitated to let me know how much I impacted your life.....I only hope you understood and knew how much you impacted mine. We didn’t get to meet again as we planned and as I promised we would.... but I know one day I’ll see you again! I love you man and am thankful for the time I shared with you! It’s warming to know there is another angel up there looking out for us. 

Casey was more than my uncle he was my bestfriend. He bought me candy, he took me to the movies, the park,  he bought me fireworks and he would ride his bike with me. We were funny together.He always let me play in his room on his xbox and watch avengers together. We would run, play, scream and swim and i will always miss those times. He loved Maddyx just as much too. Im going to miss him alot but he will always be in my heart and looking above me. I love you uncle casey.

We will always remember Casey for his sweet, kind self and the amount of love he had for his family especially his nieces and nephews. At most family gatherings he would be the first one to come up to you to see how you have been and later you would see him outside playing with all the kids. He will be greatly missed by all. No amount of words can express the pain that you are all going through. We are sending you love and prayers and hope you are able to find strength during this dark time. 

Whenever I think back to my childhood, Casey is always a huge part of it. I will always remember the long car rides to Iowa with all of us piled in the back singing silly songs. Casey was there when I learned to fish and ride horses. One of my fondest memories from those Iowa trips is eating fresh rhubarb with a little bit of salt. Growing up, Casey was the older brother I never had. He loved to tease Brianna and I, and chase us around with his paintball gun. So many of my memories are filled with Casey, like being introduced to video games and playing outside everyday until the street lights came on. Casey will always hold a special place in my heart, I loved the way he would light up when talking about his family, especially his nieces and nephews. Casey was an angel on earth and now gets to be an angel watching over all of us. 

We will remember Casey for his  loving and giving heart. He was a friend to everyone in our neighborhood and would always  take time to say hello and offer his help whenever needed. He was a good friend to all our boys and one  of his gifts was his patience and love towards kids. He would always take time to play with Wil and teach him a few basketball skills. We had a lot of fun with all the families on Glen Canyon and Klamath Mtn Rd(s) and Casey will forever be in our hearts and memories.

Casey was an amazing soul. He had such a caring heart for everyone. His genuine, kind and giving heart is one that will never be forgotten. Thankful we were able to be apart in his life and grateful to carry wonderful memories with us for a lifetime. Biggest condolences to the family and all of our love always.

Our hearts are broken for you. What a sweet guy . I ran into him ,not to long ago at a gas station, he came up  gave me a big hug and asked about Shane and the family. He was always so sweet and polite .  He will be missed by so many. I pray for you all for comfort and peace.

I have known Casey since he was 3 years old, and Brooke and Brianna were only 1. I have so many memories of him coming over to swim with Ashley in the play pool when he was 4-5 years old. Back then, he would just walk through the yards to get to our house since the subdivision wasn’t built up yet.  Brianna was Brooke’s best friend growing up and spent many days at the Sevier house with Casey. The neighborhood kids were like our own. They went Christmas Caroling Together, trick or treating, and spent many days swimming in each other’s pools and sleeping over. Casey was a sweet, polite, and helpful kid and adult. After we moved out of Park Glen, Casey mowed my yards for many years so i was lucky to see him quite frequently. One thing that sticks out in my mind is that he always wanted to make sure i used bug spray to protect myself from West Nile, like his dad. He was very protective and concerned for Bruce’s health. The last time i saw Casey was about a year ago. Brooke and i Drove through the neighborhood For old times sake and Casey was sitting outside by the garage. We stopped the car in the middle of the street in front of his house and he ran up to the car to Tell us how happy he was to see us. That was Casey. Always made you feel special. 

I am so very sorry for your loss, Kim, Bruce, Brianna, Travis and the rest of the family. It is unimaginable really. RIP Casey and say hi to Tom. ❤️🙏🏻

I remember when you were born. This long lanky leg baby. You for sure a Sevier. 
You guys moved away but I remember a time you came back to grandma’s and it was winter and there was ice and snow and you guys came running outside to greet us with no shoes or socks and then realized how cold it was.    
I remember when you came running down the loft of aunt Connie and Uncle Tom’s house and you were waving around a sword! You were a POWER RANGER! I’m not sure which one. But we laughed and loved it! 
When I moved to TX you were my best Cuz! You helped me move, and move again, and again. Given the circumstances, you were always there for me. ALWAYS! No matter what was going on you checked in on me. You were one of my best friends. I could always count on you for anything. 
I’m saying this again because I hated that you always scared the shit out of me when you could!

Sevier, Woods and Contreras families:  

The news of Casey‘s passing has been devastating. Knowing the hurt and pain you must be going through has burdened my heart for days. Casey was such a good friend to Coley. More than a friend. A brother. He was a big brother to Emmalee, too. He impacted their lives in so many ways. I am so glad to have lived across the street from you guys for 13 years. In that time we became like family and Casey was like one of my own. One of my favorite memories of him is how he was such a helper in every possible way. He was always there. So, I knew I could count on him to catch our dog Joe anytime he ran out of the house.  All I had to do was call and he was there and no doubt he brought him back every time.  

I am so grateful and blessed  to have known Casey and experience his kind and compassionate heart. He will live in our hearts and in our cherished memories forever. 

May you find rest and comfort in the love and hope of God, and others that surround you.

I wanted to give my condolences to Kim and Bruce.  I cannot even begin to imagine the pain you and your family are going through. Please know that you all are in my thoughts and prayers during this sad time.

It’s hard to really pin point one memory to point out with Casey. We had a lot of great times, laughing, playing basketball, talking about girls, talking sports everything. 

It’s not really one specific memory, it’s just who he was. Everytime i saw him he always got so excited to see me, why? Ya got me i have no clue lol. But it was never a fist bump “whats up Bro?” It was always “Colton!!!!! My dude!! What’s up bro?! How have you been?!”  Followed up with a hug. That’s just who he was, he had a heart of gold and always saw the good in people when we couldn’t see in our selves. I will forever cherish the moments we had with him and my brother, him always making him self at home at our house always saying yes ma’am no ma’am, yes sir no sir to our parents and always being respectful and just being a good person with a even better heart. 

You’re gonna be missed more than you know my dude. Save me a spot up there, i know I’ll see you again someday ❤️

Casey was more than a friend to me. He was my brother. We grew up together. We lived life together. Even as we grew older and people moved and friendships changed... Casey and I remained close. My favorite memories of us almost always include us riding around and listening to music in his white Tacoma. Always trying to find the next thing to get into or the next group of ladies to hangout with. His life has impacted so much of who I am as a man. I wouldn't be the person I am today without his friendship. His brotherhood. I wish I had half of the compassionate heart that he did. But it always pushed me to love others better. There won't be a day that I don't miss him. I'm so thankful for Casey's life and friendship. As we always used to say to one another, "Much love Bro". 

Sevier Family - Casey will always have a special place in my heart as my first real crush. I talked about him non-stop from ages 6-10! He always had a warm presence and was someone that was known for his kindness. I know my brother has many good memories of hanging out with him in the neighborhood and playing basketball. Our prayers are with you all. 

Casey has a special place in my heart and I am so sad to hear of this. My thoughts, prayers and deepest sympathies to all family and friends.

I went to school with Casey for a long time. Although we were not close, he always had a smile on his face, and was always friendly to me. RIP, you died too young. 

I’m so glad you were able to come stay at our house the summer of 2018 . As you got older you didn’t come to Iowa as often really enjoyed spending time with you and the kid s. Always asking if you could help with anything and always helping with Blaklin. You  will be missed ! Forever in our hearts ! I’m sure Grandpa will find some work for you to do in heaven ! 

We remember all the summers when you came to Iowa. Cookouts, fishing in our ponds, riding in the tractor. My gosh I remember when all 3 of you kids stayed with us while your parents were on vacation.  You were small enough that both you and Travis could get in the tub together and I had to yell at you both because there was more water on the floor than in the tub. We always took over your room when we came to Texas but,  you were always ok with that! I remember how you always sneaked those Brittanys in house when your parents weren't looking 😄. Emily always talked about what a big help you were to her when she lived in Tx. Thank you for that. We will miss you Casey, always and forever!💔 Uncle Tom and Aunt Connie
