Andrea Kay Hinkle of Roanoke, Texas passed away on December 1, 2024. Andrea was the most generous person any of us ever met. She would never be rich in the ways of the world because if she had three dollars, she would give two to someone who needed it more. She was a loving mom, sister, aunt and friend. She loved her children, Leisa and Larry infinitely. The only person she loved more was Jesus and she loved him almost as much as he loves her. Andrea was a realtor for many years and worked for Penguin Patch Holiday Shop, where she won many contests for being a top producer.
Andrea was born in Fort Worth, Texas but moved frequently during her childhood due to her father’s military career. They eventually settled back in Fort Worth and she graduated from Southwest High School. From the time that she was a little girl, Andrea loved horses and all things related to horses. She also loved spending time with her family, old hymns, afternoons spent shopping and having lunch with the girls, cherry limeades, and finding ways to serve others.
Andrea is proceeded in death by her parents: Dale and Aline Chalfant, and Shirley Wilder. She is survived by her children: Leisa Parker and Larry Hinkle; sisters: Katie Crow (Tom) and Dr. LaFaye Sutkin; nieces: Reagan Bryant (Andy), Koleen Bray (Isaac), Ashley Tully (Jon), and Sara Wick (David); several great-nieces and nephews; and many loving friends.
There will be a visitation at Keller Old Town Funeral Home on Sunday, December 8, 2024 from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. If choosing to make a donation in her honor, the family requests that you make a donation to the Roanoke Food Pantry, Victory Therapy Center (equine therapy), the Boot Campaign, or a charity of your choice.
