Her parents, Earl and Katherine (Dort) Chase welcomed their daughter into the world on March 22, 1930, in Keene, NH. She grew up in Claremont, NH and was a graduate of Claremont High School.
She moved to Keene, NH to attend Keene State College.
Mrs. Dicey took great pride in raising her family and caring for her home. She was a longtime member of the Trinity Congregational Church in Troy.
She enjoyed reading newspapers that were published from all over the country. She also loved to read books, especially anything of a medical nature. She was in tuned to political issues and knew a great deal about each of our presidents.
Mrs. Dicey loved vacationing in Maine and on Cape Cod. Lobster was her favorite meal of all time. She loved listening to country music and watching the Minnesota Vikings football games. She had an extensive sports memorabilia collection as well.
She will be greatly missed by many, especially her children, Raymond Dicey, Jr. and his wife, Mary, of Sebastian, FL, James Dicey and his wife, Pat, of Winchester, NH, Barb Robinson of Franklin, NH, Richard Dicey and his wife, Meagan, of Swanzey, NH; nineteen grandchildren; twenty-five great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and a brother-in-law, Doug Dicey and his wife, Jan, of Kennebunkport, ME. Her husband of 64 years, Raymond W. Dicey, Sr. predeceased her on February 21, 2018.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 10, 2025, at 11:00am in the Trinity Congregational Church, 11 South Main Street, Troy, NH. Burial will follow in the Mountain View Cemetery, Route 12, Troy. There are no public calling hours.
