Robert R. Willard

He was born August 29, 1953 in Springfield, Massachusetts, the son of John Franklin Willard, Jr. and Elizabeth (Cook) Flowers. He was a 1971 graduate of Springfield Technical High School. He was a charter member of the Men’s Auxiliary of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post in Keene.

Robert was a very hard working man, and had been an employee of Price Chopper Grocery Store in Keene, New Hampshire for many years. He had a very deep compassion for animals, especially his beloved cat: Simon, who was loyally at his side, throughout his final journey.

He is survived by his mother: Elizabeth Flowers and her husband Bill of Naples, FL, his sister: Ilse Jouette of Sherman Oaks, California, his brother: John F. Willard, III and his wife Christine of Naples, FL., and many nieces, nephew and extended family members.

A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, May 27, 2014 at 1:30pm at Christ Lutheran Church, 4 Fitzwilliam Road, Troy, NH. Burial will follow in the Evergreen Cemetery, Richmond Rd, Winchester, NH. Family and friends are invited to call on the family at the Foley Funeral Home, 49 Court Street, Keene, NH, on Monday, May 26, 2014 from 6 to 8pm.
