Robert "Bob" Charles Redfield

He was born on October 4, 1937, in Keene, the son of Frank G and Catherine (Moore) Red-field. He graduated from Keene High School and joined the US Army and served 4 years. He has lived in the area most of his life.

On February 10, 1973 he married the love of his life, Sandra M. Seymour in Keene.

Bob owned and operated RC Redfield Floor Sanding, a well-respected business in the com-munity for many years. He retired in 2001.

He was an active member of the William Marconi Italian Club here in Keene for many years.

Bob was an avid Yankees fan and you never saw him without a Yankees hat on. In his earlier years, Bob enjoyed playing horseshoes, softball, golf and bowling.

His family remembers him as an amazing man, a hero who was a hardworking, loving and devoted father. He was a man who loved his family and his two dachshunds, Jack and Jill.

Bob is survived by his wife Sandra Marie Redfield of Keene; his sons Jason Redfield of Keene and Matthew Redfield of Chester, VT; his daughters Lisa Gillum and Kelly Proux, both of Keene, Sherry Burroughs of Whitehall, NY; his grandchildren Morgan, Justin, Madison, Makenzie, Hayden, Hudson, Liam, Lydia, Javon and Cullan; great grandchildren Blake, Brier, Camden, Cooper, Brooklyn, Sailor and Gianna; his brothers Bill Redfield of Hixson,TN, David Redfield of Marlborough, NH; his sisters Jane Chiovitti of Greenville, RI, Martha Brunelle of Chicopee, MA and Kathy Marrotte of Troy, NH as well as many nieces and nephews. His fa-ther, mother and brother, John Redfield all died earlier.

At the request of the family, services for Mr. Redfield will be private, there are no public calling hours. A celebration of life will be held at a later time.
