Rick was born on October 7, 1958 in Caribou, ME, the son of Richard and Janice (Robidoux) Record, Sr. As a result of his father’s military career, he lived in several different countries with his family before they settled in the Keene area. Rick went on to graduate from Keene High School in 1976.
In 1977, he married Tammie Earley at St. Denis Church in Harrisville.
Rick worked for MPB for twelve years before starting his own business, Computer Component Source for ten years. He then started RCCS Construction which has been in operation for the past ten years.
He enjoyed a variety of outdoor activities including gardening and his involvement with youth baseball. He had been a Little League Coach, umpire and had also served as the Bambino Commissioner. In addition, he was an avid Red Sox fan and a fan of sports in general.
Rick especially enjoyed hosting the traditional Christmas Eve gathering of family and friends and all were welcome.
He is remembered by his family as a gentle, soft spoken man. Rick was a “jack of all trades”. If something needed to be fixed or built that he didn’t already know how to do, he would learn about and then get the job done.
He is survived by his wife of 34 years, Tammie Record of Winchester; his son Jared Record of Winchester; his daughters Kristen Record and Jenna Record also of Winchester; sisters Kathy Bartnicki, and husband Robert, of Virginia Beach, Renee Gammans, and husband Gary, of Spofford; nephews Colin and Tyler Gammans and Robert Bartnicki; and niece Courtney Bartnicki.
